The Wilderness trim level is a rugged variant of the new Subaru Crosstrek, and it comes equipped with more rugged off-road upgrades. The Crosstrek Wilderness sits 9.3 inches above the ground, which comes in handy when trekking over rocky terrain. The vehicle's underbody is protected with skid plates, and its Yokohama GEOLANDAR tires are fit to handle rugged surfaces.
Performance Highlights
The new Subaru Outback Wilderness is equipped with the brand's 2.5-liter BOXER® engine. This four-cylinder engine produces an estimated 181 horsepower and 176 pound-feet of torque. Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive is another contributing factor to higher performance. This advanced system monitors wheel slip and sends added torque to the wheels to regain traction. Liberty Township drivers can optimize performance even more with X-MODE®, which lets you toggle between various drive settings. There are modes for Deep Snow, Mud and Dirt. You can even take a small boat, a trailer and more along on your next Blue Ash adventure thanks to having 3,500 pounds of towing capacity.
Features
The 2024 Subaru Crosstrek Wilderness has a unique exterior that looks different from other SUVs. Its front and rear bumpers are modified to improve approach and departure angles, and this also gives the SUV an even more adventurous look. Protective cladding wraps around the lower body, and there are anodized-copper accents. Other exterior elements include a signature grille, hexagonal headlamps and an anti-glare hood design. The vehicle's low profile sits on 17-inch matte-black wheels.
A number of other features are ready for use, including a roof rail system that has a 700-pound weight limit. Hamilton, Ohio families will have 20.0 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seats, with up to 54.9 cubic feet available when you fold the rear seats down. The Crosstrek Wilderness also comes with:
